Our Projects

Seedling grow and distribution

GAP grows a wide range of seedlings through individually constructed hoop houses across Reno, Nevada. Farms and individuals can submit requests for the types of food they want to grow, and we grow them. We distribute the seedlings to anyone who asks, free of charge. While we ask for no money, we do request that any leftover food during harvest season goes to food pantries or nearby reservations.

Vesta project

Under the shared objective of providing accessible, community-enriching resources in the Truckee Meadows, GAP is planning to install a vegetable garden bed on Holland Project’s property. This space is readily accessible to attendees of Holland Project events and will serve as both an immediate food resource and an educational one.
